Introducing Vegan Cookies!

The Adorned Cookie now offers a vegan option! They are not my buttery, rich shortbread cookie, but they are tasty nevertheless. This recipe was a labor of love and has been reworked over the past 11 months. One of the secrets is to replace flavor organically... These are my orange flavor cookies prepared with orange juice and orange zest!

Cherry Blossom Time

One of my favorite cookies to create. This cookie design came about accidentally two years ago and is probably my best selling cookie!

Meri Meri Style Cookies On A Stick

Creating Wood Grain

I've seen the results of other techniques. This was discovered quite by accident. The brush that was used, is a worn out brush that has been used to apply shimmer dust to cookies over the past several years. After washing it out, I was drying it by dragging it across a paper towel. I loved the pattern that it made. I diluted a bit of "Americolor" and found that it might possibly create a wonderful wood grain look. My opportunity came when I made these wonderful Harp cookies. I loved the results!

Loving The Blues... Tiffany Blue And Wedgewood Blue

Lately I have had an attraction to two classic shades of blue, Tiffany blue and Wedgewood blue. These beautiful, pale blue cookies make an elegant background for a simple monogram.

How Could She Be 18?

This past week marked a real milestone in our lives.
My beautiful daughter turned 18!
She has been a blessing, and we have celebrated each year of her life in a special way.

Over the past 18 years, I have saved quotes, verses, and little notes that I have written to her about... LIFE. I bound them up in a special book entitled "notes to elle".

We love you Gabrielle!
